Please reach us at hello@poleunity.com.au if you cannot find an answer to your question.

  •  Check out our handy guide on our Divisions Page
  • We’ve answered a couple more questions below.

  • Yes! While Pole Unity has primarily been launched as a platform for our Perth dancers, we welcome those from outside of WA to apply!
  • Please note Pole Unity is for polers residing in Australia & is not an international competition
  • If you are travelling from interstate, all travel and accommodation arrangements and related costs will be your own responsibility.
  • PS. Don’t forget to check time zone differences.

  •  You must be over 18 years of age by the date of the competition to apply

  • Absolutely!
  • All genders are welcome to apply

  • You sure can. You can submit just on spin but be sure to check out our application criteria
  • Just be aware that the finals will be on both static and spin if you are successful

  • Stage Right (looking out at the audience) will be static
  • Stage Left (looking out at the audience) will be spin
  • Doubles / Groups can choose to have both poles on spin or one static & one spin
  • Pole Artistry performers may choose their configuration
  • We will be using Competition Grade 40mm brass X-Poles
  • Poles will be approximately 3m apart and 3.3m high

Please note, we are still finalising the finer details, so this is subject to change.

  • AMATEUR – 3 minutes
  • SEMI-PRO – 3.5 minutes
  • PROFESSIONAL – 4 minutes
  • DOUBLES  / TRIOS – 4 minutes
  • POLE ARTISTRY PERFORMERS - 4 minutes

  •  You can still stay as an amateur as long as you have never won in a state or national competition or never competed in any Semi pro or Pro competition.
  • BUT, you can choose to enter semi -pro if you wish

Yes, as much as we want to allow free expression, we have some minimum costume requirements:

  • No nudity is permitted. This includes see-through costumes.
  • G-strings and pasties are not permitted.
  • You can wear any footwear that suits your theme / style and costume.

  • All props will need to be approved in writing.
  • We won't be permitting human props.

  • Pole Artistry shows must be performed as a Pole act.
  • You can request to use pole silks / straps (attached to the pole and able to be rigged and removed quickly and safely) This would be taken into consideration as part of prop approval.

Tickets will be on sale from March 2025 so stay tuned
